Brussels – forgive me! It took me four years to finally visit you. Your proximity to Holland made me neglect your beauty. How could I! Now I really regret not seeing you earlier… Ah, Brussels!
One sunny day in the capital of Belgium brought along a whole set of new unforgettable experiences. Brussels is the place where waffles combined with ice cream is an acceptable lunch meal. Where not only the street names but also the street billboards are bilingual. Where drinking beer is more of an art than an actual drinking process. And, finally, the place where little peeing statues are worshiped (no joke ;-))
We arrived in the capital of the European Union early in the morning and were off to a beautiful sunny start at the old Grant Place. Then we took the must-have photo in front of the Manneken-Pis – a statue of a tiny peeing boy that seems to be the symbol of Brussels. After a long street-sign confusion we randomly walked up the paved streets to the Palace of Justice. A magnificent view of the city revealed itself there. During the time left we made sure to visit all important places in Brussels: we passed by the Royal Palace, went straight into Parc de Bruxelles and strolled down the Rue des Bouchers (a lovely street full of small romantic restaurants). Late in the afternoon we signed up for a guided tour in the European Parliament – an exceptionally inspiring endeavour. In the end of the day we had a few special Belgium beers at the Grant Place – this evening gave beer a whole new meaning and was the perfect ending to a wonderful day in Brussels :-))

It’s as true today as it ever was. He who seeks beauty, will find it. — Bill Cunningham

За да се изравни благосъстоянието на населението, предлагам парите да се правят от уран. Ако някой събере повече, отколкото му се полага – получава се критична маса. Бум, и социалната справедливост се възстановява…

In order to equate the wellbeing of the nation, I suggest that money are made out of uranium. If anyone collects more than what they should have - a critical mass is reached. Boom, and the social justice is restored…
